The Journey Begins

It has taken us sometime to get to this point, the point of beginning.  Why are we saying that this is the beginning when we have lived now for 45 plus years and served in the ministry for over 25 years?  It’s because God has put a new vision in our hearts.  He has opened our eyes to the needs that have come about because of the slackness of the church as a whole.  We see how many people are feeling left out of our churches or have been hurt by a church or other Christians.  We now are saying a prayer like the chorus of this song:

Give me Your eyes for just one second
Give me Your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me Your love for humanity
Give me Your arms for the broken-hearted
The ones that are far beyond my reach
Give me Your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me Your eyes so I can see

This is our desire.  We desire to have a heart after God’s own heart!

Proverbs 23:26 – My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
