What We Believe

We believe the Church should stand on the whole Word of God. That each individual needs to seek God and allow God to impart His Word to the individual. The following statements are the firm foundation that God has laid in our lives. They are the basis for our interpretation of the Scriptures as a whole.

There is one God and the Scriptures are Inspired

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible Word of God. The Bible is the authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

Exodus 20:3, Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Timothy 3:15-17

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare:
His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His work on the cross, His resurrection from the dead, and His exaltation to the right hand of God, and His personal return in power and glory.

Matthew 1:23, Acts 1:9-11, Luke 3:22

The Salvation of Man

A believer’s only hope is a personal redemption through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. The believer’s salvation brings about the desire to separate one’s self from the world and to seek to live a Holy life.

John 3:16, Romans 10:13-15,1 Peter 1:15,16

The Church and its Mission

The Church is the Body of Christ, the house of God through his Spirit. Each believer is a key part of the Church.
